Kids Relate to Kids - Inspiring Through Peer Connection

When students see kids their own age shredding the violin and commanding a stage, something clicks. Ari and Aven aren't distant celebrities or adult authority figures — they're proof that dedication and passion pay off. That peer connection sparks something real: the belief that they, too, can do anything they put their minds to.

assembly itinerary breakdown

Every minute of the Fiddlin' Brothers assembly is purposefully designed, not just performed. The format follows a proven arc: capture attention fast with high-energy music, build trust through hands-on student participation, deliver the message while students are fully engaged, then reinforce it with more music before sending kids off with a clear takeaway. Each segment builds on the last — entertainment opens the door, interaction earns buy-in, and the positive message lands because students are already invested. It's not a concert with a speech tacked on; it's a carefully sequenced experience built to inform, motivate, and stick.

Making Choices And One Of The Following Topics Of Your Choice

When Ari and Aven take the stage, the whole gym becomes one crowd — no cliques, no separate tables, just students cheering for the same thing at the same time. The Fiddlin' Brothers use that shared energy to talk about what real school spirit looks like: showing up for each other, celebrating wins together, and being proud of where you belong. It's a reminder that unity isn't something a pep rally manufactures — it's something every student helps build.

Ari and Aven didn't become skilled violinists overnight — they share the real story of hours of practice, setbacks, and the moments they almost gave up. Their message to students is simple: talent only gets you so far, but persistence is what turns a dream into reality. Whether it's music, sports, or any other goal, students leave knowing that hard work and refusing to quit can take them anywhere they want to go.

Standing on stage in front of hundreds of peers wasn't always easy for Ari and Aven either — they talk openly about the nerves, the fear of judgment, and how they learned to push past it. By inviting students to perform alongside them, the Fiddlin' Brothers create a safe space for kids to step outside their comfort zone and discover their own confidence. The message sticks: courage isn't the absence of fear, it's playing through it anyway.

The Fiddlin' Brothers prove that band isn't just an elective — it's a launchpad. Through their own journey from beginner violin lessons to performing for thousands, Ari and Aven show students that music programs build skills far beyond the classroom: discipline, creativity, and lifelong friendships. It's an invitation for students to consider joining band and discovering what they're capable of.

Ari and Aven know firsthand that words and exclusion can leave lasting marks, and they aren't afraid to talk about it. Using music as the bridge, they show students how creating something together — a beat, a song, a moment — breaks down the walls that bullying builds. The takeaway is powerful: when kids find common rhythm, there's no room left for putting each other down.

HOW OUR BOOKINGS WORK WITH OUR TOUR SCHEDULE

As the Fiddlin' Brothers tour the country by car, performing at fairs, festivals, and concert venues, they love making special stops to inspire students along the way. If their tour route brings them near your city or town, they may be available for up to two unforgettable school assemblies.

MEET THE BAND

Ari and Aven Nercessian, better known as The Fiddlin’ Brothers — a powerhouse sibling duo redefining what two violins can do. Aside from all their accolades of winning fiddle competitions, these brothers have performed at dozens of schools across the U.S., captivating students from coast to coast with their iconic rock anthems to alternative genres that have survived the passage of time and remain chart-toppers.
Blending classical violin technique with a high-energy, genre-bending show, Ari and Aven perform covers of iconic hits like Thunderstruck by AC/DC, Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, Misirlou from Pulp Fiction, and classics like Cotton Eye Joe and The Devil Went Down to Georgia. With a growing repertoire of over 100 songs, they move seamlessly between rock, country, hip hop, Latin, sea shanties, movie themes, and traditional fiddle tunes, among others.

Their performances have included school assemblies from a few hundred to few thousand, with their signature interactive and unforgettable talent, inviting kids to join them and encourage them to become a part of the music creation process with maracas and shakers, creating shared moments that stick for a lifetime. From major venues to state and county fairs, wineries, the boys would tell you, hands down, their favorite performances are at nursing facilities and school events.

If you're looking for experience and entertainment that’s unique, unforgettable, and guaranteed to deliver for your school, the Fiddlin’ Brothers command attention with the skill, energy, and presence of seasoned pros.
